Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear and smell
- Ability to occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
- Ability to perform close vision and depth perception tasks
- Willingness to complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- Ability to work in environments with occasional exposure to wet, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold
- Ability to work in a moderate noise level environment
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer's needs
- Exceed customer expectations and make every shopping visit pleasant and satisfying
- Follow correct bagging procedures
- Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles
- Return shopping carts into the store
