Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Meet physical demands including lifting and moving up to 40 pounds and performing tasks requiring standing, walking, reaching, climbing occasionally
- Ability to work in environments with moderate noise and occasional exposure to wet, humid conditions, fumes, and mechanical parts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in training
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the job
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Follow correct bagging procedures
- Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles
- Return shopping carts into the store
- Participate in and complete required training
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
