Job Requirements

  • Previous home care experience of 1+ years
  • willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • must be respectful and compassionate with good bedside manner
  • outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • physical endurance to complete required tasks
  • must be able to work in the USA
  • must be very reliable
  • must be willing to work part-time
  • driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years caregiving experience
  • knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • driver’s license
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • positive and compassionate attitude

Job Duties

  • Provide medication reminders
  • assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside including doctor’s appointments and walks
  • assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
  • perform shopping or accompany clients while shopping
  • perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation
  • report any unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator
  • act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • follow the care plan
