Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be 18 years of age
- six months of experience in human services preferred
- valid driver’s license in good standing
- car registration and vehicle insurance if transporting individuals
- completion of all required state training and certifications
- ability to perform heavy physical work including lifting up to 100 pounds
- willingness to travel as needed
- capability to follow safety procedures and universal precautions

Job Duties
- Attends orientation and ongoing training as directed
- participates in monthly staff meetings
- works scheduled hours and arrives on time
- stays on shift until replacement arrives
- notifies supervisor when unable to work as scheduled
- fills in for other shifts as needed
- works collaboratively with team members
- complies with safety policies and reports injuries
- provides direct support in accordance with individual service plans
- assists with socialization and behavioral development
- supports personal care and housekeeping
- facilitates recreational activities and transportation
- assists with financial management and community orientation
- maintains accurate progress documentation
- reviews service plans regularly
- maintains confidentiality of records
- completes billing documentation timely
- manages individuals' funds and property safely
- maintains professional relationships with individuals and their families
- greets visitors and adheres to customer service standards
- reports abuse, neglect, and incidents accurately
- respects individuals' rights and practices universal precautions
- accompanies individuals to medical appointments
- administers and documents medications accurately
- monitors health and communicates concerns appropriately
- utilizes medical equipment correctly
- supports dietary planning and meal preparation
- transports individuals according to safety regulations
- performs housekeeping and environmental maintenance
- conducts minor repairs and reports facility issues
- stimulates safety awareness and participates in drills
- uses personal cell phone for business with stipend provided
- performs other related duties as required
