Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to notify management in advance of absences or lateness
- Must be willing to participate in and successfully complete all mandatory training sessions
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
- Must follow company grooming, dress code, and personal hygiene standards
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a courteous demeanor
- Ability to adapt to shifts, changing priorities, and work in varying temperature environments
- Must comply with safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of chemicals and food products
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and problem-solve standardized issues
- Completion of company training programs including food sanitation, customer service, and safety
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and support fellow associates
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide exceptional customer service through genuine and clear communication
- Bake, fry, broil, roast, and decorate bakery and meat products according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including counters, coolers, and prep rooms
- Unload stock, reload salvage products, and manage product rotation and merchandising displays
- Follow safety regulations, food safety policies, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
