Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability to work part-time hours as scheduled
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to maintain personal grooming and present a neat appearance
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to handle food safely and comply with sanitation standards
- Capability to communicate clearly with customers and associates
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction
- Successful completion of company training programs including food sanitation and customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to change
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to standards
- Provide customer service, including answering questions and assisting on the sales floor
- Clean work areas and maintain sanitation standards
- Unload and restock products following Fresh Foods Receiving and Rotation standards
- Decorate bakery items and create party trays per specifications
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly
