Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to speak, read, and write in English
- ability to handle food safely and comply with sanitation standards
- ability to work in environments with temperature variations and exposure to cleaning chemicals
- completion of company-mandated training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training
- exceptional interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions
- willingness to complete required company training in food sanitation and safety
- ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to standards
- provide courteous and friendly customer service on the sales floor and counter
- bake, decorate, and display bakery items according to recipes and customer specifications
- maintain clean, orderly work areas including prep rooms and coolers
- unload, stock, and rotate products to comply with safety and freshness standards
- follow company policies for food safety, sanitation, and customer interactions
