Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- reliable and punctual with good attendance
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- capacity to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities
- compliance with company dress and grooming standards
- ability to follow safety regulations and food handling policies
- willingness to work part-time varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training preferred
- ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
- ability to work as part of a team
- willingness to successfully complete required training programs
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to standards
- provide courteous and prompt customer service including answering questions and guiding customers
- bake, fry, broil, and roast meats and bakery items following recipes and company guidelines
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, coolers, and customer-facing displays
- unload stock deliveries and manage salvage products per company standards
- communicate effectively in English with customers and associates regarding requests and promotions
