Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance as needed
- Ability to speak and hear in English for communication
- Reliable and punctual with flexible availability
- Willingness to complete all required training

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to add, subtract, and use American money and weight measurements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform detailed but routine tasks
- Completion of company training programs including food sanitation and safety
- Ability to work well in a team and support fellow associates
- Willingness to follow company standards, policies, and procedures
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service on the sales floor and sales counter
- Prepare and decorate bakery items such as bread, rolls, pies, cakes, and cookies
- Bake, fry, broil, or roast meats according to company standards
- Operate equipment to prepare and portion products
- Maintain clean work areas by following sanitation and health department standards
- Stock product shelves and process close-dated or damaged items
- Unload stock and reload salvage products according to standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Follow all food safety, company policies, and safety regulations
- Assist fellow associates with daily tasks including inventory and merchandising
- Adapt to shifting priorities and demonstrate flexibility
- Complete required training in food safety, customer service, and product knowledge
