Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willingness to participate and complete required training programs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both orally and in writing
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Reliable and punctual with good attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide exceptional customer service on the sales floor and counter
- Bake, fry, broil, roast, and decorate bakery and meat products according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas including prep rooms, coolers, and display areas
- Unload, stock, and rotate products following Fresh Foods Receiving and Rotation standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates regarding products, promotions, and requests
