Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Able to perform physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and reaching
Reliable and punctual with the ability to notify management in advance if late or absent
Completion of required company training programs including new hire orientation, food safety, and customer service
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Commitment to following company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three months related experience or training preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to standards
Provide outstanding customer service including answering questions and assisting with product location
Maintain cleanliness of work areas including prep rooms and coolers
Unload stock from delivery trucks and properly place items in coolers or storage
Follow food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Operate equipment to prepare and portion products according to specifications
