Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to complete company training including food sanitation and safety
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to notify management of absences or tardiness in advance
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Adherence to company grooming and dress policies
- Ability to handle and apply chemicals according to guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English

- Ability to operate food preparation equipment

Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide exceptional customer service on the sales floor and sales counter
- Bake, fry, broil, and/or roast meats and bakery items according to standards
- Decorate cakes and bakery goods and create party trays to customer specifications
- Operate equipment to prepare and portion products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and comply with food safety policies
- Stock and block products on shelves and displays
- Unload deliveries, check in stock, and process salvage products
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates regarding products and promotions
- Follow safety regulations and report hazards
- Assist fellow associates with daily tasks
- Complete accurate paperwork and inventory processes
- Adapt to varying priorities and work environments
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism and teamwork
- Follow Company policies and procedures
