Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED or equivalent
One to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
Ability to write simple correspondence in English
Ability to effectively present information in English
Ability to perform basic math operations
Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with standardized problems
Completion of company training including food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in moderate to loud environments
Reliable and punctual attendance
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers in English

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to perform basic math including addition and subtraction
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Customer service skills
Ability to operate food preparation and processing equipment
Ability to work flexible hours
Willingness to complete company training programs

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
Provide customer service on the sales floor and at the counter
Clean work areas and maintain sanitation standards
Unload stock and reload salvage products
Bake, decorate, and prepare bakery items according to recipes and customer specifications
Operate equipment required to prepare and portion products
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Follow safety regulations and company policies
Assist with inventory, restocking, and merchandising
Handle customer complaints by directing to management
Maintain proper personal grooming and business image
