Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience or training
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform multiple tasks
- Compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Successful completion of all required training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Effective oral communication skills in English
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to follow detailed but simple instructions
- Ability to deal with routine problems
- Willingness to complete company-required training including food sanitation and customer service
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service on the sales floor and counter
- Bake, decorate, and prepare fresh baked goods and pastries according to recipes and standards
- Operate equipment to prepare and portion products accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, prep rooms, coolers, and customer contact surfaces
- Unload and stock inventory, manage salvage products, and ensure proper refrigeration and product rotation
