Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-1 years of related work experience
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • ability to write information and complete simple forms
  • basic skills in spelling, grammar, basic composition and math
  • analytical skills with knowledge of information systems and Microsoft software
  • physical ability to move and set up audiovisual equipment, tables and chairs
  • ability to operate computer hardware and audiovisual systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-1 years of related work experience
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions, write information, and complete simple forms
  • analytical skills with knowledge of information systems and proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email and internet applications
  • capable of performing light physical duties
  • capable of operating computer hardware and audiovisual systems

Job Duties

  • Opening, closing and securing all facilities used by education customers
  • set up classroom(s) as required including adding, removing and arranging furniture
  • issue learning aids and inspect equipment for serviceability before and after use
  • monitor proper use and safeguarding of school and education property and equipment
  • report abuse, damage and malfunctions to education center personnel
  • maintain facility and property management during each session
  • ensure compliance with all safety, fire, and security rules and regulations
  • monitor building and grounds for security
  • notify Security Police and/or Fire Department of violations or discrepancies
  • notify Civil Engineering when emergency work orders are needed
  • direct students and faculty members to assigned classrooms
  • monitor hallways, break areas, off-site classrooms, and surrounding grounds to minimize any potential disruptions to academic activities
