Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • two years of food service experience in a casual dining or related environment
  • high school diploma or GED
  • ability to work Saturdays from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • dependable and punctual
  • capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties

  • Prepare and sell a variety of coffee drinks
  • follow recipes and preparation techniques for espresso, cafe latte, cappuccino and other types of coffee drinks
  • prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and salads
  • prepare grab and go items such as sandwiches, salads, various snack items
  • operate POS (point-of-sale) system to process orders and charge accounts
  • maintain cleanliness of the Bistro and work areas throughout the day
  • wash and sanitize Bistro dishes
  • sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment
  • ensure compliance of food safety and handling policies
  • maintain inventories by ensuring coffee bean and brewing supplies are replenished
  • assist with ordering inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment
  • notify Executive Chef of expected shortages
  • perform other duties as assigned or requested
