Job Requirements
- Associates or technical degree/certification in cosmetology or beauty related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury cosmetic beauty industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and training
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday
- Capacity to lift and move items over 50 pounds
- Compliance with dress code and safety guidelines
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Greets and engages customers effectively to create a welcoming environment
- Demonstrates an ability to read and discover what brands and products are best for a customer by asking open-ended questions
- Sells with appropriate demonstration of hygiene
- Utilizes vendor supplied support collateral
- Samples effectively
- Sells with integrity and trust while ensuring minimized customer returns
- Links selling by offering recommendations of other synergistic products
- Shows an ability to build a cosmetic regimen utilizing a variety of brands
- Demonstrates willingness and aptitude to team sell
- Consistently and accurately enters customer information into POS system
- Communicates present and future events
- Sends thank you cards and follows up with customers through clienteling techniques
- Demonstrates an ability to develop a personal Beauty specialist relationship with customers
- Communicates the presence of social media outlets and loyalty rewards program
- Books appointments for events and confirms them
- Works with vendor specific AE to plan, organize, and execute events
- Demonstrates community involvement to promote the store
- Maintains thorough knowledge of core brands and understands each brand’s philosophy and differentiation
- Makes the best product/brand recommendations based on customer needs
- Engages in continuous self-learning through brand training and mentorship
- Participates actively in ongoing vendor trainings
- Adheres to the dress code and arrives floor ready
- Completes tasks independently and follows through with assignments
- Flexible scheduling and store coverage assistance
- Collaborates to create a positive work environment
- Learns proficiency in daily business processes including packing, receiving, and opening/closing
- Ensures effective use of POS system for transactions and inventory investigation
- Assists in managing brands under manager supervision
- Organizes drawers and shelves to standards
- Communicates stock levels and store trends to buyers
- Understands handling damages, returns, and testers according to processes
- Adheres to enhanced Covid-19 safety guidelines
- Meets sales expectations for average unit sale and items per transaction within 90 days
