Job Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor types and drink recipes
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems such as MICROS
  • Ability to manage cash accurately
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be completely familiar with different kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks proper glassware used for each recipe as well as garnishes needed
  • Know drink recipes prices and type of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and handle all monetary intake
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
