Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not essential
  • previous related experience preferred
  • proficiency in computerized environments
  • ability to read and write in English
  • basic math skills including addition and percentages
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to collaborate with culinary and service teams
  • ability to maintain composure and organization during busy periods
  • compliance with ABC laws and regulations
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • must wear uniform and non-slip shoes
  • punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous experience in food and beverage service, bartending, or hospitality preferred
  • comfort with computerized systems
  • ability to read, write and perform basic math
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively with culinary and other team members
  • ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Complete and stay current on all mandatory training and certifications including CARE
  • follow hotel procedures for documenting any alcohol related incidents
  • maintain sanitary conditions of bar, stations, utensils, equipment, and beverage dispensers
  • set up bar and reception station according to hotel and brand standards
  • demonstrate hospitality and professionalism at all times
  • handle cash and payment processes accurately and securely
  • know beverage menus, portions, recipes, appropriate glassware and garnishes
  • order, pick up and serve foods from menu
  • be attentive and responsive to guests
  • store equipment, food and beverages properly
  • maintain uniform standards and punctuality
  • report any safety concerns or repair needs
  • complete all assigned pre- and post-shift tasks
