Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two plus years of bartending experience preferred
- Must obtain a City of Wauwatosa Bartender's License within the first 30 days of employment
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent cash handling and register operation skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be punctual and presentable

Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times while serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and menu items as needed
- Assist in creating new recipes for intriguing and unique beverages complementary to brand values
- Remain current on mixology trends and assist Lead Mixologist in implementing strategies in advance of mainstream
- Use observation, intuition, and spontaneity in describing beverages and assisting guest in selection of items
- Prepare in-house made syrups, tinctures, bitters, and other bar and beverage ingredients
- Engage with guest while ensuring prompt service and that guest expectations are met
- Operate cash register and handle cash with accuracy, including credit card, debit card, and check transactions
- Set up and break down bar completing all opening and closing duties to established procedures
- Maintain inventory and proper storage and rotation of beverages and garnish
- Maintain a flexible work schedule in accordance with business demands
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, wiping spills, replenishing ice stations, and replacing glassware
- Create a pleasant, friendly, hospitable, effective, and professional working environment
- Practice safety standards at all times
- Report to work on time and in full uniform
- Perform other duties as required
