Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality preferred
- ability to move for at least 50 percent of the time
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Job Duties
- Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
- extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests as they arrive and thank them as they depart
- make the manager aware of all guest comments and complaints
- complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned
- prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages and pre-made food items as ordered
- maintain an adequate stock of clean glassware, dishes, and flatware
- restock and maintain dining areas to meet cleanliness and presentation standards
- promote sales of food and beverages using suggestive selling techniques
- follow procedures to control payment of guest checks
- properly open and close the bar including handling bar keys and running SMS Touch reports
- maintain stock of beverages and supplies according to established pars
- organize dining areas including bussing tables and emptying trash
- review and verify previous shift’s inventory at the start of each shift
- complete inventory of stock at shift close
- handle cash including maintaining adequate cash bank and processing payments accurately
- maintain cleanliness and care of tableware and serving equipment
- maintain clean and sanitary work area
- follow company policies and procedures
- report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
- maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
- follow all safety standards including proper equipment handling
- attend mandatory meetings
- perform additional tasks including cross-training as directed
