Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to move and lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to move around and stand for at least 50% of the time
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring to the Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager when necessary
- Extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests as they arrive and thank them as they depart
- Make the Manager aware of all guest comments and complaints
- Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned
- Properly prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages and pre-made food items as ordered by patrons and hotel guests
- Maintain an adequate stock of clean glassware, dishes, flatware as needed
- Restock and maintain all specified areas of the dining room to meet hotel guidelines for cleanliness and presentation
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote the sale of food and beverages
- Follow procedures to control payment of guest checks
- Properly open and close the bar, handling bar keys, running SMS Touch reports and performing necessary side work
- Maintain adequate stock of beverages and supplies and secure beverage stock while on duty
- Maintain organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and emptying trash
- Review and verify previous shift’s inventory at the beginning of every shift
- Complete inventory of stock at the close of the shift
- Handle cash correctly including signing paid-out sheet for tips, maintaining cash amount in bank, giving correct change, ringing drinks through POS and processing credit card vouchers
- Maintain care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Immediately report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
- Follow company safety standards including proper equipment handling
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
