Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to stand and move continuously for at least 50% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must comply with all company policies and safety standards
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and order in work area

Job Duties
- Respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, extending courteous and friendly greetings and farewells
- Make the Manager aware of all guest comments and complaints
- Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, beverages, and pre-made food items accurately as ordered by guests
- Maintain adequate stock of glassware, dishes, and flatware
- Restock and maintain dining areas to meet cleanliness and presentation standards
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote food and beverage sales
- Follow procedures to control payment of guest checks and accurately handle cash and credit transactions
- Properly open and close the bar including handling bar keys and performing side work
- Maintain inventory and security of beverage stock
- Keep dining areas clean by bussing tables and emptying trash
- Review and verify shift inventory at beginning and end of shifts
- Maintain proper care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment
- Follow all company safety, cleanliness standards, and policies
- Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
