Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • reliable transportation to work
  • legal authorization to work in the country
  • willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • greet customers warmly
  • take food orders
  • provide product information
  • prepare drink orders according to Starbucks and Marriott service standards
  • operate a cash register
  • handle payments accurately
  • provide change to customers
  • educate customers on coffee beans, preparation methods, and home brewing
  • clean and stock the customer area
  • follow Marriott's operational policies including safety and security procedures
  • maintain composure during peak times
  • interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly and outgoing manner
