  • Highest level of ethical behavior
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year of customer service, cash handling, and food service experience
  • valid Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • must be bondable
  • pass a pre-employment background check

Job Duties

  • Serve as the main representative of The Dot cafe, maintaining consistent and punctual attendance, with the ability to open and close the cafe
  • establish rapport with all customers to deliver excellent customer service
  • prepare hot and cold beverages and ready-made food items
  • follow standards for merchandising, stocking, and rotating
  • store and maintain records of all products
  • properly handle all cafe equipment and ensure equipment is maintained
  • escalate maintenance concerns as needed
  • follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards and ensure that established food safety regulations and guidelines are followed
  • uphold optimal cleanliness of work area and cafe
  • respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
  • enhance customer experience by uncovering customer needs in relation to products and services offered by Maps and its subsidiary companies
  • support the Community Outreach and Maps Community Foundation departments during events held in the cafe
