Job Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience
- Minimum of 1 year of food service experience
- Possess or ability to obtain a valid Food Handlers Card within 30 days
- Must be bondable
- Must pass a pre-employment background check

Job Duties
- Serve as the main representative of The Dot cafe maintaining consistent and punctual attendance with the ability to open and close the cafe
- Establish rapport with all customers to deliver excellent customer service
- Prepare hot and cold beverages and ready-made food items
- Follow standards for merchandising stocking and rotating Store and maintain records of all products
- Properly handle all cafe equipment and ensure equipment is maintained Escalate maintenance concerns as needed
- Follow all health safety and sanitation standards and ensure that established food safety regulations guidelines are followed Uphold optimal cleanliness of work area and cafe
- Respond to orders questions concerns and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Enhance customer experience by uncovering customer needs in relation to products and services offered by Maps and its subsidiary CUSO companies
- Support the Community Outreach and Maps Community Foundation departments during events held in the cafe
