Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or banking preferred
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including some Saturdays
  • Ability to attend new hire training in Lexington or Somerset, KY Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to travel to other locations as needed
  • Ability to handle cash, count coins and currency accurately
  • Must comply with Bank Secrecy Act rules and Drug-Free Workplace policies
  • Ability to work in inclement weather or emergency conditions as required
  • Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Must be detail oriented and trustworthy
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by calling on prospective customers
  • Identify prospects and establish suitable methods of contact
  • Determine appropriate products and/or services for customers
  • Perform day to day operations to achieve satisfactory branch audit scores
  • Refer opportunities to ancillary lines of business
  • Assist customers with financial transactions such as cashing checks, receiving deposits, and placing holds on accounts
  • Provide explanations and demonstrations of bank products or services
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities to cross sell products and services based on customer needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
