Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • ability to reach with hands and arms
  • ability to talk, hear, taste, or smell
  • occasional ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to reach from 6-72 inches
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
  • willingness to participate in and complete required training
  • exceptional interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • basic math skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers and handling units of American money and weight measurement
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge

Job Duties

  • Bake products according to standards
  • process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
  • clean work areas
  • provide customer service
  • unload stock
  • reload salvage
