Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- reach with hands and arms
- talk or hear
- taste or smell
- occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- close vision, color, and depth perception required
- willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
- ability to work in moderate to loud noise environments and exposure to hot, cool, and extreme cold temperatures
- ability to work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions
- ability to write simple English correspondence
- effective presentation skills in English
- proficiency in basic math including addition and subtraction with American money and weight
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
Job Duties
- Bake products according to standards
- process, package, and stock Fresh Foods products according to standards
- clean work areas regularly
- provide excellent customer service
- unload stock deliveries
- reload salvage stock
- participate in required training programs
