Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • must have close vision, color, and depth perception
  • willing to work in environments exposed to hot, cool, and extreme cold temperatures
  • able to handle exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • willingness to learn and complete required training
  • ability to follow detailed but uncomplicated instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to execute written or oral instructions
  • ability to work well with a team

Job Duties

  • Bake products according to standards
  • process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
  • clean work areas regularly
  • provide customer service effectively
  • unload incoming stock
  • reload salvage items
  • participate in required training programs
