Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- must have close vision, color, and depth perception
- willing to work in environments exposed to hot, cool, and extreme cold temperatures
- able to handle exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
- excellent interpersonal skills
- willingness to learn and complete required training
- ability to follow detailed but uncomplicated instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to execute written or oral instructions
- ability to work well with a team
Job Duties
- Bake products according to standards
- process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
- clean work areas regularly
- provide customer service effectively
- unload incoming stock
- reload salvage items
- participate in required training programs
