Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- ability to perform basic math operations using American money and weight measurements
- willingness to complete required company training
- ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, taste, and smell
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- physical ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must have vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
- willingness to work in environments with temperature variations and exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- ability to work in moderate to loud noise environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- effective verbal communication skills in English
- basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
Job Duties
- Bake products according to standards
- process, package, and stock fresh food products according to Fresh Foods standards
- clean work areas
- provide customer service
- unload stock deliveries
- reload salvage
- follow safety and food sanitation protocols
