Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
- exceptional interpersonal skills
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- physical capability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- good vision including close vision, color, and depth perception
- ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience or training
- ability to read and comprehend English instructions and correspondence
- effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction with money and weight units
- ability to complete company training programs on food safety, customer service, and product knowledge
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various manual tasks
Job Duties
- Bake products according to standards
- process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
- clean work areas to maintain sanitation
- provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- unload stock deliveries and reload salvage items
- participate in required training programs
- follow food safety and sanitation protocols
