Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- reach with hands and arms
- talk or hear
- taste or smell
- occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- specific vision requirements including close vision, color, and depth perception
- ability to work in environments with moderate noise levels and exposure to temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to present information to customers and associates who speak English
- ability to perform basic math operations involving American money and weight measurements
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
- completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
Job Duties
- Bake products according to standards
- process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
- clean work areas
- provide customer service
- unload stock
- reload salvage
- participate in required training
