Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- 1 year of experience processing and filing merchandise receiving paperwork
- 1 year of experience with store inventory receiving and administration
- 6 months of experience in warehouse data entry or bookkeeping
- 6 months of experience communicating with vendors or customers regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment
- 6 months of retail experience accepting or processing returns

Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service at all times through daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies
- seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, or loading merchandise
- listens and responds promptly to customer and employee questions, walking them through projects when necessary
- demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- communicates product, special order, warranty, and program information to customers
- ensures proper handling of returns including refunds and finding replacement products
- works closely with Production Office for timely processing of reimbursements
- maintains positive vendor relationships and manages difficult conversations
- completes Centralized Return to Vendor (CRTV) and Return to Manufacturer (RTM) programs including all necessary paperwork and coordination
- processes and returns damaged, discontinued, defective, special order, and buy-back merchandise
- generates and monitors reports related to inventory and returns
- orders missing product parts for assembly
- coordinates with drivers and receiving team to expedite merchandise accessibility
- assists in unloading trucks and organizing pallets
- validates store items and checks hazardous materials
- assures proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- participates in safety and recycling programs
- ensures security by monitoring store entrances and recognizing theft risks
- complies with housekeeping standards to maintain store cleanliness and organization
- operates store equipment as needed
- performs other duties as assigned
