Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must complete three basic courses in Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
  • Basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
  • Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training if applicable
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Respond with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to train and lead others
  • Must be able to resolve conflict
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
  • Comfortable with moderate to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred
  • Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
  • Completion of basic food handling training and local or state mandated certification where required
  • Safe Alcohol Service training for management members working with alcohol
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to train, lead, and resolve conflicts

Job Duties

  • Follow the direction of the General Manager
  • Support General Manager's decisions in communication with staff
  • Work in all departments and perform all theatre job functions
  • Train and coach team members in specific job functions
  • Assist in preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager
  • Observe and participate in inspection of theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, property, roof, signage, and equipment condition
  • Report need for building, property, and equipment repairs to General Manager
  • Ensure team members follow the dress code
  • Interact with guests to improve service and ensure superior customer service
  • Learn and enforce policies and procedures fairly and consistently
  • Report employee relations issues to the General Manager or through the Employee Relations Reporting Protocol
  • Maintain high work ethic and code of conduct
  • Identify and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • Properly use personal protective equipment for tasks
  • Adapt to the frequency and scope of cleaning tasks
  • Address safety or security issues
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
