Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- must have a personal and reliable vehicle with auto insurance, including liability and collision coverages, that provides coverage while performing job-related duties
- no driving accidents in the past three years
- no more than two tickets in the past 3 years
- no DUIs in the past 7 years
- must be available to work weekends
- must be physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. repeatedly
- ability to read, comprehend, and follow memos, reports, and various written and/or oral instructions
- ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a physically demanding job
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- basic organizational skills to sort and manage donations
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- knowledge of sustainable practices or passion for environmental stewardship preferred
Job Duties
- Visit and maintain assigned Drop Spot locations
- pick up items left outside the collection bins
- empty collection bins regularly
- fill and organize clothing and shoe carts
- maintain cleanliness and remove debris from sites
- distribute promotional flyers to community members
- assist patrons with patience and professionalism
- remove or paint over graffiti
- monitor surveillance cameras at assigned locations
