Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Previous administrative assistant experience preferred
  • Ability to type 55 to 60 words per minute with few errors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle concurrent tasks and interruptions
  • Good grammar skills and strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Detail oriented with multi-tasking ability
  • Proven relational skills with kids and adults
  • Initiative with developing processes and systems around events and data organization
  • Great customer service skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist event coordinator with logistics for major events such as annual Benefit, Wing-A-Thon, and leader gatherings including registration pages, invitations, and volunteer coordination
  • Assist with quarterly board reporting by gathering data, formatting reports, and distributing materials
  • Support adult guest experience logistics for events and trips including communication and hospitality coordination
  • Create and manage camp registration pages, parent communication templates, and mailing lists
  • Prepare and distribute printed materials such as camp flyers and mailers
  • Manage Mulch Madness and Wing-A-Thon registration platforms and email updates
  • Support ministry teams by producing and scheduling Mailchimp communications using provided templates
  • Assist with camping season details including parent meetings, collecting forms and payments, and responding to inquiries
  • Help maintain organized records, databases, and communication systems
  • Manage t-shirt and merchandise ordering process including design communication, sizing information, placing orders, and vendor coordination
