Job Requirements
- Part-time or full-time availability
- minimum of 1-year veterinary receptionist experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to multi-task
- high level of organization
- computer proficiency
- compassionate and calm demeanor
- willingness to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:15 pm-10 pm and/or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday 7 pm-2 am shifts
- ability to handle stressful situations
- ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
- ability to handle exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste and contagious diseases
Job Qualifications
- Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- greet and welcome clients and patients
- answer questions and triage client concerns
- answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
- schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- check in and check out clients and process payments
- offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
- withstand unpleasant odors and noises
- handle exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
