Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- no prior experience required, on the job training provided
- no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- must have a valid driver’s license
- ability to operate shuttle vehicles safely
- may require a CDL with specific class and endorsement depending on contract
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
- ability to follow safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- must be 21 years of age or older
- one year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver preferred
- ability to operate specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts
- strong customer service skills
- ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- capable of maintaining detailed records
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- CDL with specific class and endorsement may be required depending on contract
Job Duties
- Transport, load and unload passengers at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
- ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers including handling specialized equipment for those with special needs
- assist passengers with luggage
- inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
- provide excellent customer service and respond courteously to guest inquiries
- maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities
- report any incidents or claims immediately to management
- refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel logs
- maintain a clean and disinfected shuttle environment
- perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure operational safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards
