Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • no prior experience required, on the job training provided
  • no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate shuttle vehicles safely
  • may require a CDL with specific class and endorsement depending on contract
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
  • ability to follow safety procedures and regulatory guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • one year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver preferred
  • ability to operate specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
  • capable of maintaining detailed records
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • CDL with specific class and endorsement may be required depending on contract

Job Duties

  • Transport, load and unload passengers at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
  • ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers including handling specialized equipment for those with special needs
  • assist passengers with luggage
  • inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
  • provide excellent customer service and respond courteously to guest inquiries
  • maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities
  • report any incidents or claims immediately to management
  • refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel logs
  • maintain a clean and disinfected shuttle environment
  • perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure operational safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards
