Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to successfully communicate with others
  • ability to work in variable weather and environmental conditions
  • physical ability to lift and push bags weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • able to work in high-noise level environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to communicate effectively with others
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • basic knowledge of airport ramp operations and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Load and unload cargo including mail, express, baggage, and freight on and off aircraft
  • transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
  • receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company materials
  • complete necessary forms and reports related to cargo handling
  • clean and service aircraft interiors including cabins and lavatories
  • perform de-icing and push-back or towing of aircraft
  • operate ground support equipment such as ground power and start units
  • monitor security and report breaches or suspicious activities
  • assist with routine cleaning and equipment maintenance
