Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • able to work in high-noise environment
  • physically able to pull, push, and lift up to 70 pounds
  • ability to drive vehicles requiring depth perception and color distinction
  • able to perform duties in variable weather and environmental conditions
  • comply with safety and security procedures
  • valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to communicate effectively with others
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to understand and speak English fluently
  • experience in airport ground operations or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • load and unload cargo including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company materials
  • transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
  • receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company materials
  • clean and service aircraft cabin interiors including cockpit and lavatories
  • assist with loading, unloading, and racking drums
  • perform aircraft de-icing and clear aircraft windshields
  • drive vehicles weighing between 3,000 and 80,000 lbs in congested areas
  • perform push-out and towing operations with ground support equipment
  • comply with site security procedures and report security issues
