Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work in high-noise environment
- physically able to pull, push, and lift up to 70 pounds
- ability to drive vehicles requiring depth perception and color distinction
- able to perform duties in variable weather and environmental conditions
- comply with safety and security procedures
- valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to understand and speak English fluently
- experience in airport ground operations or related field preferred
Job Duties
- load and unload cargo including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company materials
- transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
- perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
- receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company materials
- clean and service aircraft cabin interiors including cockpit and lavatories
- assist with loading, unloading, and racking drums
- perform aircraft de-icing and clear aircraft windshields
- drive vehicles weighing between 3,000 and 80,000 lbs in congested areas
- perform push-out and towing operations with ground support equipment
- comply with site security procedures and report security issues
