Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- six months experience in clerical or customer service work
- valid driver’s license
- completion of Microsoft Word and Excel skill testing
- ability to exert moderate physical effort including lifting 12-20 pounds
- ability to perceive colors, sounds, and visual cues
- ability to communicate orally
- willingness to comply with all county employment policies

- six months of clerical or customer service experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- ability to perform data entry accurately
- strong communication skills
- basic knowledge of office equipment
- good organizational skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Serve as the receptionist and first point of contact for the public
- answer telephone calls and greet visitors
- direct callers and visitors to appropriate personnel and record and relay messages
- provide clerical support for an assigned department or division
- process documentation associated with department operations within designated timeframes
- perform customer service functions including providing information and assistance regarding department services and procedures
- respond to routine questions or complaints and research problems and initiate resolutions
- perform data entry functions and maintain records
- handle receipts and balances of payments for various fees and services
- operate fax machines and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- copy and distribute forms, reports, correspondence, and other documentation
- perform other related duties as assigned
