Job Requirements
- High school degree
- Some college preferred
- Computer literacy with MS Office proficiency preferred
- Library or bookstore experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch, stoop, squat, twist, climb, push or pull up to 50 pounds and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic cash management experience

Job Duties
- Warmly welcome customers into the library and ensure a great experience and farewell
- Assist customers in finding books and using self-checkout services
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and attractive displays within the library
- Promote library programs, services, and products through engaging conversations
- Manage opening and closing procedures of the library ensuring readiness
- Oversee and maintain experience zones including technology and interactive displays
- Register patrons for library cards, assist with fees, requests, and basic computer needs
