Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous server experience highly preferred
- Six months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred
- Experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems
- Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- May need to complete other pre-employment screenings such as physical, fingerprint, and TB test as required by state/local guidelines

Job Duties
- Assist residents with meal selection including ordering from menu, buffet or a la carte item selection, and assistance with buffet stations
- Present menu to residents, answer questions and make suggestions regarding meal choices
- Record orders and relay to kitchen production area
- Work efficiently and quickly deliver food to residents, aiding them as needed
- Clear, clean, and reset tables for next meal service
- Assist with light back of house/kitchen duties such as salad bar, soup service, portion desserts, brew coffee
- Assist with clearing tables
- Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
