Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience if less than 2 years of experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle difficult situations calmly
  • Passion for culinary arts
  • Ability to create and understand recipes
  • Understanding of knife usage
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Enthusiasm for kitchen work
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food safety certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work with technology such as plate costing buffet systems and KDS
  • Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, create, and understand recipes
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food safety certification or equivalent
  • Basic wine knowledge preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Assist in menu development and daily specials
  • Lead and train junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Handle kitchen equipment properly and safely
