Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience if less than 2 years of experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Able to handle difficult situations calmly
- Passion for culinary arts
- Ability to create and understand recipes
- Understanding of knife usage
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Excellent guest service skills
- Enthusiasm for kitchen work
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Food safety certification or equivalent
- Ability to work with technology such as plate costing buffet systems and KDS
- Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Qualifications
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, create, and understand recipes
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Food safety certification or equivalent
- Basic wine knowledge preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Assist in menu development and daily specials
- Lead and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Handle kitchen equipment properly and safely
