Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field focused on high volume production
- culinary education degree or equivalent for those with less than 2 years experience
- strong communication and organizational skills
- proven leadership ability
- ability to troubleshoot and handle difficult situations calmly
- passion for culinary arts
- ability to create and understand recipes
- knowledge of proper knife usage
- positive and friendly attitude
- excellent guest service skills
- passionate and enthusiastic about kitchen work
- knowledge of culinary techniques
- food safety certification
- ability to work with culinary technology systems
- flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays and special events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- culinary education degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 2 years culinary experience with high volume production
- strong communication skills
- proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- food safety certification
- proficiency with culinary techniques and terminology
- ability to read and understand recipes
- basic wine knowledge preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
- ensure quality and presentation of food
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen
- manage inventory and ingredient usage
- work collaboratively with team members
- adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
