Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in culinary field with focus on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience required if less than 2 years experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and remain calm under pressure
  • Proven ability to read and understand recipes
  • Understanding of knife usage
  • Positive and friendly attitude towards guests and cast members
  • Excellent guest service skills with service recovery
  • Passion and enthusiasm for kitchen work
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food safety certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work with technology including plate costing, CAFÉ system, KDS, Workbrain
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience

  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology

Job Duties

  • Create innovative and appealing dishes for fine dining guests
  • Follow and understand precise recipes and culinary techniques
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food preparation
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely, including proper knife usage
  • Troubleshoot and resolve kitchen issues calmly and efficiently
  • Provide excellent guest service and appropriate service recovery when necessary
