Job Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of application questions is required
  • Ability to work no more than 29 hours per week
  • Must be eligible for rehire if a former employee
  • Must comply with drug and alcohol testing policies
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Electronic payment method required (direct deposit or pay card)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in program coordination or community recreation preferred
  • Ability to supervise part-time and volunteer staff
  • Proficient in computer systems related to ticketing, inventory, and financial software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records
  • Understanding of safety procedures and emergency response

Job Duties

  • Plan, promote, coordinate, and execute program activities
  • Supervise contract, volunteer, ancillary, third party and/or lower-level part-time personnel
  • Maintain required forms such as event permits, facility inspections, inventory lists, time and attendance reports, program planning documents, and facility schedules
  • Conduct program participation surveys and report outcomes
  • Meet with assigned staff to discuss and resolve work related problems
  • Handle and adjust complaints from patrons or facility tenants
  • Explain facility services and programs to the public and program participants
