Job Description

The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is a luxurious 605-room convention center hotel located in the vibrant heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Job Requirements

  • Must have 1-3 years of beverage or food and beverage management experience
  • Must have previous coffee shop experience strongly preferred
  • Must have previous upscale hotel experience preferred
  • Must be able to bend, push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs and stand up to 8 hours
  • Must be able to work all shifts including AM’s, PM’s, overnight, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have ability to drive the team towards a common goal
  • Must have strong understanding of current trends as well as operational financials

Job Duties

  • Bring fresh and current ideas to our food and beverage offerings
  • Monitor the flow of service in the outlets ensuring prompt service
  • Follow through on out of stock items and IOUs to maintain par stocks in outlets
  • Perform inventory checks and ensure par levels are maintained
  • Train staff on Omni standards of service for food and beverage
  • Engage with guests regularly asking for feedback and follow-up with concerns
  • Manage labor hours effectively through scheduling and assignment of responsibilities
  • Prepare requisition and verify supplies
  • Schedule associates and complete payroll
  • Conduct standup meetings and department meetings
  • Coach, counsel, and mentor associates to success
  • Inspect and observe daily operations and follow-up on deficiencies with recommendations
  • Develop and implement guest service initiatives
  • Assist staff wherever needed to ensure service quality
  • Manage reservations to ensure ideal flow in outlets
  • Ensure all staff meet uniform specifications and appearance standards
  • Perform service audits and follow-up with training as needed
  • Communicate with culinary teams for seamless kitchen service
  • Keep team updated with latest menu changes and develop up-selling techniques with staff
