Job Requirements
- Minimum eighteen years of age
- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- ability to walk and move continuously
- ability to climb stairs and ladders occasionally
- ability to handle repetitive hand and arm movements
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and over with assistance
- good eye/hand coordination and fine manipulation
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- ability to handle exposure to insects, poisonous plants, fumes, dust, mold, and noise
- ability to work on uneven and slippery surfaces
- ability to work at heights over 12 feet occasionally
- able to drive
- able to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications

- familiarity with safety guidelines and procedures

Job Duties
- Attend work site as scheduled
- collect garbage and pick up litter in parks
- clean and maintain park restrooms
- report any concerns such as vandalism or inappropriate patron behavior
- wear personal protective equipment when needed
- maintain effective communication with staff and supervisors
- carry two way or cell phone communication at all times
- provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers
- follow Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines
- proactively support the district's core values daily
- maintain good safety awareness and follow all safety guidelines
